Do you have a child at Coombabah State High School?
Are you interested in finding out more about what is happening around our school?
Can you spare 1 hour on the second Monday of each month?
If you answered Yes to any of the above questions, then we would love to see you at our P & C meetings that are held on the second Monday of the month in the Staff Common Room in the Administration Block commencing at 4.00pm.
Meetings usually only run for one hour and give parents, students and staff, as well as members of the community, the opportunity to voice any concerns or ask questions regarding their student/s schooling at Coombabah State High School.
Attendance at meetings is also an opportunity for members of our school community to have a say in the distribution of P & C funds that are raised through the operation of our school Tuckshop and Uniform Shop. As always, any profits from these areas are channelled directly back to the school to further enhance or provide additional resources for our students.
Coombabah State High School is not what we call ‘a Fundraising School’ as we do not organise a yearly Fete, or any large annual activity to supplement our P & C funds. As such we ask our parents/caregivers/guardians, when participating in the school Text & Resource Scheme, to support the school by including the ‘Voluntary P & C Contribution’ amount of $40.00 when paying their fees.
Looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you and your family to the Coombabah State High School community.
Cheers,
Patricia Campbell,
President,
