GROUP STUDY TOURS

Coombabah State High School offers study tours that enrich the educational experiences of overseas students visiting the Gold Coast.

Our tour programs cultivate positive social and cultural interaction between students and create and promote an interest in different racial, religious and cultural backgrounds. International communities and schools enjoy forming ties with Queensland communities and schools.

For visiting student groups, who are always made very welcome at Coombabah SHS, our programs provide an insight into Australian culture and academic life.

During their school day they are involved in special English classes and normal class lessons. A buddy takes the visitor around and looks after them during their school visit.

Study Tours that have visited Coombabah SHS this year include:-

• Jiangsu Province - A Professional Teacher Exchange from China
• Higashi Junior Boys School - A half day tour from Japan
• Assabucho Junior High - A half day tour from Japan
• Ozushi Junior High - A two week tour from Japan
• Australian Student Exchange German Study Tour - A five week tour from Germany

Complete the study tour program request form and submit it to Education Queensland International.
