What is VET?
VET (Vocational and Education Training) represents the certificate courses offered under the Australian Qualifications and Training Framework. In these courses, students are working towards competency by completing modules of work. In some courses, students are required to participate in Vocational Placement.
The certificate qualification that students obtain is recognised throughout Australia. A Statement of Attainment, instead of a Certificate, is issued if a student does not gain competency in all the modules
What are the benefits of VET Certificate courses?
- They improve the transition from school to work for students.
- Students become more employable.
- Minimal costs are involved.
- Students gain credit points towards their QCE.
