Youth Support Coordinator - Bernard Dalton

The focus of the YSC is to work with young people and/ or their family where a young person is:
- At risk of disengaging from school
- At risk of homelessness
- A student living independently (either with other family members other than parents, living with friends family or living in support housing.)
- Experiencing family and/or personal crisis that is affecting their capacity to remain in learning or education.

The YSC can provide many services to students including:
- Individual Case Management
- Group Work/Program Development
- Community Development
- Providing a school link to the community
- Resource and referral service to staff

My office is located in Student Support Hub at Coombabah State High School and you will find me there every Thursday and Friday.
