Resource scheme


Coombabah State High School offers a Resource Scheme to all students.  The scheme operates under the authority of the Education (General Provisions) Act and the Department of Education, Training and Employment.  The participation fee in 2020 will be $230 for years 7, 8 & 9, Year 10 fees $240.00 and Years 11 & 12 fees $100.00.  The scheme represents excellent value and provides substantial savings to parents of students in all year levels. For those students enrolling after February, the pro-rata cost to join the Resource Scheme will be calculated by office staff. This scheme which is managed by the school, has the authorisation and approval of the school’s Parents & Citizens Association and provides parents with the following general benefits: 
  • use of all textbooks and class sets required for each year level

  •  all printed class notes, excluding colour photocopies and student’s personal photocopying

  • student ID Card (replacement cost of $10.00)

  • audio visual equipment including digital and video cameras

  • a variety of resources used in practical classes such as technology, the arts, and health and physical education where the instruction is extended through providing practical learning experiences in excess of resources provided by school grants

  • other resources to support learning as agreed by the school community.​ 

There maybe extra costs associated for subject selections.


Payment can be made at the school Monday to Thursday 7.45 am – 12 noon. Cashier’s office is closed Friday but payment can be made at any time direct to our school account – details below.  Cash, cheque (payable to Coombabah State High School), Visa, MasterCard and EFTPOS (no cash out) are all acceptable payment methods. A receipt will be provided. Please retain the receipt as proof of payment.
Internet banking is also available and payments can be paid by direct credit to:

NOTE: It is imperative that you use the student name and description of event/excursion/fees etc. when making a payment by the Internet. This allows the payment to go to the correct student for the reason given.
Please contact our Business Manager if specific financial hardship exists so that special arrangements can be made. All discussions will be held in confidence.
The school P&C Committee asks for a $40 Voluntary Contribution.  This can be paid at the school Uniform Shop and aids the Committee to support the students at our school.
