Instrumental Music

Our Instrumental Music program lets students explore their musical talents through ensembles, bands, and solo performance. Students develop technical skill, musicality, and stage presence while collaborating to create dynamic, memorable performances for the school and wider community.

Dance Night

Dance Night is an annual celebration of movement and creativity, featuring a mix of contemporary, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and cultural performances. Students of all year levels showcase their talent, passion, and teamwork in a vibrant, high-energy evening.

Coombabah Dance Team

The Coombabah Dance Team represents the school in competitive and community dance events throughout the year. With ensembles like CDT Onyx and CDT Solstice, students train in a variety of styles, develop teamwork and performance skills, and achieve outstanding results at competitions including Dance Exchange, Quota Eisteddfod, and the Gold Coast Eisteddfod. The teams embody resilience, dedication, and the passion that defines Coombabah dance.

Music Night

Music Night brings together soloists and ensembles for a night of live performance across a variety of styles, from classical to modern hits and musical theatre. It highlights student skill, expression, and confidence on stage, offering the community a taste of Coombabah's rich musical culture.

Ovation & Awards Night

Ovation is our annual arts showcase celebrating Drama, Music, Dance, and Film. The event features performances and artworks that highlight creativity and collaboration, and includes Awards Night, recognising students for their dedication, leadership, and excellence across the arts.

School Musical

The School Musical is a major highlight of the year, giving students the chance to engage in large-scale theatre productions. Our most recent production, Legally Blonde, showcased incredible talent on stage and behind the scenes, from singing and dancing to set and prop management, culminating in a professional-quality performance for the school community.

Synergy Art Exhibition & Awards Night

The annual Synergy exhibition celebrates the creativity and skill of our visual art students, showcasing their very best work from across the year. Judged by industry professionals, the event recognises excellence in technique, innovation, and artistic expression, and culminates in an Awards Night honouring students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their art practice.
