Our iGniTe programs provide you with a competitive edge and will greatly assist you in making a seamless transition to the senior phase of learning and life beyond school.

Academic Excellence

Are you an all-round student who excels in Mathematics, Science, English and Humanities (or a combination of these subjects)? In this program emphasis is placed on the acquisition of knowledge, the development of higher order thinking skills and the formation of effective work habits. This will contribute to success in your senior studies, tertiary education and beyond.

Dance Excellence

The iGniTe Dance Program, we immerse aspiring dancers in an enriching experience that hones their skills across various performance styles. Our program is thoughtfully designed to focus on the dynamic and energetic movements of Hip-hop, the precision and flair of Jazz, the emotive storytelling of contemporary, and the expressive fluidity of lyrical dance.

Participants will delve into each style, gaining a versatile foundation that fosters creativity and personal expression. Through engaging workshops, performances, and collaborative projects, dancers will not only enhance their technical abilities but also build the confidence and professionalism essential for a successful performance career.

Participants will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced instructors and industry professionals who will provide personalised guidance and feedback. As dancers progress through the program, they will have the chance to showcase their talents in various performance settings, from informal studio presentations to larger-scale productions.

Health and Exercise Science Academy

Our Health and Exercise Science Academy is dedicated to cultivating passionate sports enthusiasts, with a special emphasis on elite athlete development and careers in health and exercise science. We aim to produce graduates equipped with the skills and mindset, inspired by athletes, to make a positive impact on the world in professional sport, health and exercise science careers.

We aim to:

1. Empower students to unlock their potential to be competitive, perform at an elite level, or pursue a career in health and exercise science
2. Promote a high performance culture for all students to ensure the journey started has a successful outcome
3. Support student athletes to achieve a healthy balance between their commitments in a supportive educational environment
4. Offer students cutting-edge facilities, evidence-based training programs, and systematic support aimed at fostering connections between performance, health and exercise science

Rugby League Excellence

This excellence program has been designed for athletes wanting to specialise in Rugby League at elite levels or pursue a career in the Rugby League on or off the field. In this course, you will focus your knowledge and skills to take your performance to the next level. Students will participate in a range of learning experiences in the fields of coaching, officiating, strength and conditioning, first aid, nutrition and a variety of other industry related areas to prepare them for success.

Students will have access to:

• Working with like-minded and skilled students
• Expert teachers, valued community and industry partners facilitating your learning
• Extra-curricular experiences such as camps and visits to elite training venues
• Opportunities for athlete development
• Industry, teacher and peer coaching, mentoring and networking
• Individual educational and career planning with regular reflection and feedback

Visual Arts

A unique course for aspiring or talented artists. In conjunction with a streamed class, our expert teachers partner with local artists to develop your abilities across a range of visual arts dimensions. You will create a folio of work that demonstrates your skill level. The folio can be used when applying for employment and/or tertiary courses.

Note: This course runs from Year 9.
